Detailing Gnosis
I picked up the smaller jar of Blackfire Midnight Sun during the last AG sale. I finally applied it this past weekend. I have not had a chance to take pics.
Car/paint: Lincoln MKZ Dark Blue Pearl Metallic (my DD so use many on this)
This was applied over 1 week old Menz. Power Lock
Usage notes:
1. Smell - nice mild scent (not especially fruity or other intentional added scent)
2. Consistency - slightly soft cake
3. Ease of removal from jar- easy. Mine was in a similar size jar as the Fuzion mini
4. Ease of application - Very easy. applied with a UDM 1.0 LC Red pad, just two light rubs against pad could do almost the entire hood.
5. Ease of removal - Very easy. Instructions say apply then remove immediately without hazing. Of course the first panel has more applied but no issues with removing even when over applied. Easy clean up from crevices, emblems.
6. Trim stain - Did not seem to dry "white" like some waxes/sealants so I think trim friendly (have been known to get on trim)
7. Looks - leaves a clean, glossy look as opposed to bright with sealants(more coated than natural paint). Flake does not blaze in sun like with sealants. Darkens paint slightly (less flake pop?) with nice rich glow. Some hiding ability.
Very elegant finish.
8. Slickness - good but less slick than the Powerlock.
9. Dust attraction - does not seem to attract dust like Power Lock did
Overall - Very nice. I plan to try again on top of BFWD.
