Black E320 Benz detail (pics)

This car was is nice condition to begin with, although it did have a lot of bugs and other stuck-on crap. Swirls werent too bad either.
Here was my regimine:
Wheels were done with Megs citri-gel
Wheel wells were done with simple green
Wolfgangs Auto Bathe
Adams clay bar (probably didnt need it, barely felt anything comming out of the paint)
SSR1 with megs polishing pad on PC
VM with megs finishing pad on PC
CMW with a yellow foam applicator
Tires were dressed with Wheel wax tire gloss (nothing to write home about, but not bad either)
Wheel wells were dressed with HD blue dressing (smells really good, and is super high gloss, but real thin and watery so im afraid to use it on tires.)
Trim was dressed with, none other than, PBs NL.
 
Beautiful job! Did you use a PC with the glaze and wax or did you do it by hand? I may be trying some ClearKote stuff soon and I'm wondering how easy it is to apply and buff off. There's no question it looks awesome. :)
 
Well i applied the VM with the PC and a finishing pad, figured it might give it a little something extra than if i applied it by hand. Also made it quicker and easier. very very easy to remove, especially in the garage.

the CMW i applied with a yellow foam app, and let haze. Well i didnt really LET it haze, it just so happened that by the time i was done it applying it to the whole car it had hazed. Its an awesome product, the results speak for themselves, and even though i taped pretty much everything off (i ran out of blue tape) it doesnt stain trim and doesnt get chalky around the edges and things. Since it hazed, it was a little harder to remove in the areas the applied it to thick (my bad), but it still wasnt too bad, just required a little elbow grease and a clean MF. I like it way better than s100/p21s (the results are better and its a little easier to use, i dont know yet about protection)
 
the reflections look amazing . Great job..I have the clrkote products but haven't tried them yet . I'm soo happy with PB that I can't put them down for now..good job again 2drtahoes71

i have a lot of products like that (i have them but havent used them) as well.

You should try them.

Besides IP, FP and FMJ, PBs PWC, EX-P, and Nattys are definatly some products i want to try.

Great work! Looks pretty wet with great depth.

You should send that Clearkote pic to them or to some of their distributors.
