<strong class='bbc'>A good polymer will help the paint resist brakdown from acid rain UV light, somthing a Carnauba can't. So give one of the polymers a try.:up [/b]</blockquote>
Right on Andre!, hehe. And if I may be so bold as to add that polymers provide a much more effective 'sacrificial layer' (one of the many terms I learned from reading RonKetcham's posts). In other words, it is your polymer sealant layer that will take the brunt of the punishment that inevitably comes from driving, washing, drying, etc. Better to swirl or degrade your polymer layers than to degrade your clearcoat.

is there a compelling reason to use zaino quick detailer or wash? is zaino compatible with #34 FI or #62 or Sonax car wash?

You can use other QDs and washes on your Zaino coats, but you cannot use a carnauba based QD or any QD containing silicone (like E1 Wet Wipe N' Shine) right before slapping on a coat of Zaino.

The Zaino QD and car shampoo both contain Zaino polymers in them and do a good job of replenishing your existing Zaino coats

There is, they have some polymer in them, that adds shine and slicknes every time you use them, Zaino is shiner after the first wash and QD. The Zaino products work very well together. The wash and QD are necessary in my book.

<strong class='bbc'>Indeed I am - I founded the whole waxtest mess... ;)

Zaino & Klasse will easily outlast any carnauba. We liked both of these products for their durability, and others on here like them for their shine/look/durability/etc.

Hey, I liked your site. Can't wait till it's back up!

Steve, you don't like the Zaino or Klasse look? Too much shine and no depth?

So far, P21S wax has lasted since late October (or early Nov.) for me on my daily driver. All I have done to maintain it has been to wash once a week (if I can) and use EF Clear Pearl for QD. It still looks great water beads nicely. I would suggest getting the P21S paint cleanser lotion but it is not necessary, I have also used it with IHG with good results. I am getting ready to try KLASSE and plan on using P21S as a topper, my reason for changing is because I want to see what KLASSE is like. I have used Zaino in the past also and think it looks great on light colored cars like my wife's silver Pathfinder, I do not like the look on dark cars.

Thanks for the kind words! We can hardly wait to get the site up again (or I should say, "I" can hardly wait...I'm sick of archiving and testing HTML/ASP/etc).

Regarding the look - no, I like both very well. It was a shock to me initially - the shine/brightness/clarity, but now I'm a fan of it. I've got Zaino on our dark blue Tahoe and it's doing well. I'm using p21s on my BMW, and like it's look too.

Had it not been for our tests, I'd still be using Meguiar's Gold Class and/or Turtle Wax Emerald Series, and loving life! :)

A client of mine decided to purchase a gift for a client of his, so he had me do a 1 step paint correction detail on his client's Corvette. It was in pretty good shape with some moderate swirls. After some Menzerna SIP and a coat of BFWD, and about 9 hours total time it was looking sharp again.

Nice work as usual Jeff :soldier:

Is that a 914 I see in one of your photos? Me and a friend of mine did a full resto on his almost 30 years ago. His was a 72 if I'm not mistaken. What a super fun time that was in life :-B

Came out awesome Jeff. Nice work. What was your pad selection? Are you rotary or DA?

Thanks!
It was LC orange on PCXP. I love my rotary but for most 1 step corrections I use the PCXP.

Very nice, the car looks great.

Still need to pick me up some Menzerna products and BFWD.

Thank you! Get some ASAP, you won't regret it. BFWD is AMAZING stuff.
