Did another detail this weekend. It's my Mom's 2007 Foose Stallion (Mustang) custom designed by Chip Foose. One of a kind! Wasn't too bad but, definitely needed some TLC! The paint had a lot of contaminates in it! The clay came out filthy! I had to throw it away when I was done with it. But, it looks alot better. The paint pops now! Here it goes:

No disrespect, but while the detailing work is great, the Mustang just looks like any other one on the road out there (maybe just gone through the whole ghetto fabulous process a la MTV's Pimp My Ride style, sans the insanity like a PS3 that will pop out of the trunk or something similarly crazy)? :think:



Maybe it's just me, but cars that turn my head are the ones that aren't a dime a dozen, like say a Lamborghini. :nixweiss

Very nice car! I love the second to last picture, but too bad it did not come out clear. Very nice stance for it's nose.



I thought Chip was polishing these out perfetly with his powerball powerpuff and Mothers?:laugh:

Yeah I like the 2nd to last pic too! When I took it, the sun was going down so that didn't help either.

Just two days ago it's twin drove right by me, but it was white with orange striping.



Did you polish the car at all?? in some of the pics with the flash you can see definate swirls.



Everything else looks good though.

The stripes are painted on and yes there is some orange peel on them. I don't quite know how to get it out.



Yes I polished it and got about 75% of the swirls out of the paint!

It is one of a kind because you probablly won't see the same color scheme anywhere else.

Really good looking ride. Foose did a good job polishing ford's design of the stang IMHO. I'd definitely drive one.



FWIW, you can hang on to old clay for dirtier jobs that you may have to tackle in the future.
