best way to remove ice?

Man. It's hot as hell. It's 80+ degrees right now, and a cold front is on the way and will push temps back in the 30's tuesday morning!! GRRRRR. Hopefully my car will have the cover on and I won't deal with any frost on my windows. Don't wanna get sick so I can wash my car. :rolleyes:
 
As far as the ice goes, I usually crank up the truck about 10 minutes before I plan to leave. Right after I do that, I take the scraper/brush and use the brush and brush most of the snow/ice off WITHOUT TOUCHING THE PAINT. I leave as little as I can on. While the truck is heating up, the hood gets warm from the engine and melts the ice.



Off-topic, but would FK425 help with the pollen problem?

\r\n Some people have cracked windshields doing that. Often a short edge crack that gets worse over time. Who knows, maybe they were using boiling water.\r\n\r\nIf it has worked for you fine.'
