Best wax for a deep wet look

I followed the advice on here about RMG and Natty's Blue and it does look super wet! best of all rmg and nattys is still less than souveran

i wish i hadnt lost my camera last week, cuz id proudly post pictures... but my car (tan 2003 honda civic EX) looks wetter than any tan car ive seen... i buffed with 3m ultrafina, followed with some AIO, then 3 layers of klasse spaced about 10 hours apart. then 2 coats of s100 (which i just got a few days ago at my local mikes famous harley davidson and love). i did my girlfriends "new" dark blue matrix today, which came with its fair share of buffer trails (fiso).. i used mothers power polish, then UF, followed by poorboys EX-p, then s100, im very impressed with the wet look i get from s100.

Clearkote's Carnauba Moose buffed off with Optimum Car Wax. Apply CMW to the whole car, then go back and give each section a light spritz of OCW as you remove the excess CMW.

i tried this combo on my electron blue vet and the look was stunning to say the least, took first place and peoples choice at recent car show with this combo, very deep and wet, thanks scott.:2thumbs:

Just looking for some opinions. not concerned with durability as the car only comes out on sunny days during summer.. spends more time being detailed than on the road..

First CLAY ! Depending on color but I like to apply at least one coat of Klasse Acrylic and then follow up with a great carnu such as Natty's Blue or Best of Show Car wax/Polish.

Wolfgang DGPS topped with Natty's Blue here.

^WOW what a great pic!!! Can we see more please?

Sure. I don't want to get this thread off track though, so here's the link to the photoshoot. Here's just a couple more shots showing the results with Wolfgang DGPS and Natty's Blue. A couple hours before these shots, I hit it with a shot of DG 951 AquaWax as well.

On Edit: Also added a pic in pretty much full sun.

No one mentioned Black Fire's sealant and their wax. That's a shame, cause after trying Zaino, DG, WG, Natty's, Lusso Oro, CG 50-50, Souveran, FK, Megs and DoDo's - Black Fire products are my favorite, easy to apply - remove, great looks and duribilty. Wish I had found them sooner.

JuneBug-Hey, nice to see you posting here :wavey

Yeah, BF does the deep/dark thing really well...sometimes *too* well for my taste on certain paints. But I never found their sealant to be all that durable..well, I should say that certain characteristics (e.g., slickness) drop off faster than I'd like.

Hey Accumulator - did you do 2 coats? I did - a week apart and it's still looking great and beading like crazy (yeah - rainy season) after 2 months now, I haven't used any QD's, just a weekly wash.

Hows this Nattys Blue stuff on black? Is it just me or are a lot of you swearing on this wax? Should this be my LSP on a black car?

Yeah, it was at least two. This was a while ago and I forget the details

Actually, maybe the durability is better than I think...the suspension/etc. parts that I do with BF seem to stay nice for a long, long time. I guess it was the drop in slickness that bugged me, but then my UPP does that in a big way too.

recently got a container of s100.. deffinatley a step above everything else i have tried in the wetness department.. looks increadible.. ive applied 2 coats over the past 2 weeks and could not be happier with the results.. the beading is up there with collinite.. possibly the best ive seen. deffinatley found my summer wax :-)
