Best sealant to protect against water spots?

Here are a few photos of the car. I wish I was a better photographer, but I hope these at least show what the car looks like. I'm really pleased with the UPGP and Amigo! I only wish my car didn't have so much orange peel!

Thanks all!

Just wanted to post an update and say thanks once more to everyone for your recommendations.

I got 2 layers of UPGP on the car two weeks ago and will likely add a third this weekend. Then, I hope to be done until my Fall detail.

Anyway, I was unable to wash the car last weekend. Both last week and this week, there were several rain storms and my car had water dry on it in the sun in the parking lot at work at least twice. Washed the car today and ... NO water spots remain! No etching, no hard to remove spots. UPGP definitely has done a better job than Zaino CS of protecting against water spotting on my car.

I'm impressed. And after two weeks the paint still feels nice and slick. Great beading as well. I really like this product. Waiting to see on durability...

Thanks again all!

Car looks great. I have jet black and know your pain with water spots. As I mentioned, I find UPGP topped with OID in helping prevent water spots after a rain. Now if it is a sun shower it is really hard to stop the spots with the sun baking the water drops in quickly, but even then I find OID as being key for helping prevent water spots from even happening. One reason I think is, and as with FK 425, it is a great anti-static QD so there is not much dust or other stuff on the car to help the water spots accumulate.

Mind you I was my car once a week and top with OID each time so it is not getting much on it to help the water spots along.

UPGP ROCKS! 3 thin thin layers! I have also heard Danase wet glaze is great between the 2nd and 3rd layer. Haven't tried that yet. I have 3 coats UPGP.

Forget about Dawn!

Wash with Ultima wash

Clay (Sonus ultrafine)

Polish with UPPP

Seal 3 times w/ 12-24 hours between.

During the week remove bird craps and bugs and wipe with Crystal Mist.

After washes QD using Ultima QD and/or aquawax

Thanks guys.

tmg, I'll need to get some OID next time I order. I'm using Prima Slick and it professes to have anti-static properties as well. I haven't really paid attention to see if it resists dust, but I did notice the car didn't appear nearly as dirty after driving in the rain as I expected it to. Not sure if that is the UPGP, Slick or both, but I liked it.

I USE blackfire's paint protection on my black car and each time i wash(every week) i use a leaf blower to dry the car the followup with blackfires spray sealant with duragloss . rain heat car still has that wet look
