best OTC tire dressing

I use and love the cheap-o No Touch Tire foam, its in a white can with purple writing and you can find it at Wal-Mart for like 2 bucks for a can.

I don't know if it slings or not when you spray it and leave it but I never have any slinging issues when its applied with a tire swipe. It has been very durable for me, seems to hold up to rain pretty well and leaves a very nice matte finish. Its cheap enough you can use it in the wheel wells and anywhere else you feel like without having to worry about wasting product.

I have some experience with the Duragloss Tire and Mat dressing, seems to be a quality product. Isn't really shiny or glossy at all, but more of a very black look that stays for a decent amount of time.

Thanks for the heads up on the Long Haul product - I've been very fortunate not to experience this (I use a tire swipe), but I will definitely pay extra attention when using it in the future.

The Long Haul looks good and lasts, you just can't get it on anything other than your tires, and if you don't wipe down any extra product from your tire applications it will also leave little white spots on the tire when it dries.

I like the Mothers. Now that the old EO Concours product is gone, Mothers seems to be one of the best low cost OTC products.

Wow...EO Concours was an awesome product - It's just a shame that it was taken off the market.

A word of caution, Long Haul Tire Shine will stain some rims and you don’t want to use it as an undercarriage / wheel well spray….it will stain in those areas.

Im glad I tested it because I was considering buying the whole shelf at BigLots ($2.00 a bottle) for wheel wells.

Holy crap! Is that where that "drip mark" came from on my wheel? Curse that Big Lots!

Any national chains carry Mother's FX? I haven't seen it at Walmart or Target.

You can find FX at Pep Boys, if I recall it was $4.99 when I bought a bottle. If you like a matte finish order Mother's Reflections from an online store.

It's very much like Zaino Z16, in my opinion, in terms of look, durability, etc...

I am with Tiger Mike..I like the Tire Mat dressing...leaves a new tire look....but it is very durable...even after a wash and rinse it beaded up nice....

I just spray it on a tire wipe and rub it in...a little goes a long way..good for 3 weeks at least

MY VOTE GOES FOR MEG'S HIGH ENDURANCE. LASTS FOR EVER, NO SLING AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT REAL SHINY JUST GIVE IT A SWIPE OR TWO WITH AN OLD RAG OR PAPER TOWELS. I like the high gloss look personally.

When it comes to OTC tire dressing, I still use Armor All original from time to time. However, my favorite OTC dressing is Mother's Reflections Advanced Tire Care. Just a quality product, IMO. As for non OTC tire dressings, Z16 takes the cake!

I absolutely love Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel. It smells good, and truly lasts around 3 weeks, even with rainstorms. Since it's a gel, it doesn't sling as much, but make sure (if you don't plan on wiping it) that you let it sit on the tire for at least 24 hours to "soak" into the rubber. I use the High Gloss version. At first, the gloss may be too much, but within a few days, the shinyness suits my liking.
