Was it the orange bottle or a silver bottle? They had both on the shelf here with the same UPC number. I didn't see A2Z on the silver bottle.

Mother's California Gold 3 Step Carnauba Wax System!

Mother's CG Cleaner-Wax

Mother's California Gold Car Wash Solution

Zymol Wax Enhancer (real good)

Zymol Leather Interior Cleaner/Conditioning System

Gliptone Pro-Buff Paint Cleaner (Excellent)

PS: I've yet to see S100 in an auto supply outlet. If it were, it would definitely top this list.

Mothers Claybar Kit

EO A2Z

NXT Speed Detailer

Armor All

Stoners Tire shine

Stoners IG

NXT Insane Tire Shine

Wash: Meguiars NXT Wash

Polishes: DACP and Megs Speed Glaze

Sealant: None (I have Megs #20 but don't use it)

Carnauba Wax: S100

Quick Detailer: Megs Final Detail

Tire dressings: Meguiars Endurance

Vinyl/Plastic Protectant/Polish: 303 Protectant

Window cleaner: Stoners

Engine Degreaser/Cleaner: Simple Green

My choices are based on what I can obtain right off the shelf thru auto parts stores and mass merchandise places (like Target and Wally-World). I don't think a person who is new to detailing would have "Harley-Davidson" or their local body shop in mind when it comes to places to get car care products.

Car Shampoo: Meguiar's NXT or Gold Class

Clay: Clay Magic

Polish: ScratchX (unfortunately, this is where OTC does fall quite a bit behind when compared to "boutique/professional" products)

Sealant: Mothers FX Synwax

Wax: The new version of Meguiar's Gold Class - MUST be the new version - I cannot emphasize this detail any more. From a marketing and sales standpoint, it's good to still have the "Gold Class" moniker, but version 2 is leaps and bounds ahead of the old. In regards to *pure/non-cleaning* wax, I would recommend Meguiar's #26.

QD: Eagle One Wet, Wipe, and Shine - Compatibilty is top-notch.

Glass Cleaner: Stoner's Invisible Glass

Wheel/Tire Cleaner: Eagle One A2Z (new formula)

Tire Protectant: Armor-All Original (I did like AO Detailer's Advantage, but I can't seem to find it anymore)

Towels: Meguiar's Water Magnet for drying. Viking Orange Polishing Cloth for buffing

Miscellaneous tools: Porter Cable 7336 (from Lowe's)...Naturally I haven't found a place locally to purchase the pads and backing plate...oh well, you can't win'em all.

Just my 2 cents,

MCA

*edited to include a non-cleaning wax*

wash: Zymol blue

polish: Scratch X

wheels: Mother's mag or Nevr Dull

wannafbody,

Could you tell me more about Kit Scratch Out liquid in comparison to other cleaners?

Besides swirl removal, does it remove stains as well as other paint cleaners, Mothers Pre-Wax Cleaner, Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, or other cleaner you used?

Thank you.
