Best OTC products.........(everyone chime in) NO BASHING

I can chime in by saying it is one of the worst products I've ever used. At very best, it might "feather off" very light scratches and that's probably on quite soft paint. It might help clean the paint but nothing much more. I wouldn't doubt any removal it appears to perform is only filling as well.



Sorry for the negative feedback but I wouldn't waste my time or money on that one. The Mothers and Megs cleaners, are just that,ok cleaners. They're not really going to do anything for actual defect correction which almost always is also going to need some kind of polisher, the PC in particular.
 
Checkout the Guru Reports publications for Wax, Glass Cleaners & Tire Care ( cleaners & dressings ) There's lots of great info in there about both "otc" products & "boutique type" products.I don't really use too many "otc" products now that I've become an "Autopian".......but here's a short list: Gold Class Wash, Meguiars or Monthers polishes, Meguiars #26 Wax,Meguiars quick detailing spray, Armor All, Eagle One A-Z Wheel Cleaner,Sprayway Glass Cleaner,Shop Towels, Wal Mart MF's.
 
I'll preface this by saying that I can drive to a local motorsports store and buy Zaino products over the counter so that's what I do but I'll also include the products I can and do buy at the local Autozone...



Categories are:



Wash..Z-7/NXT/Gold Class



Polishes.. Perfect-It 3000 Swirl Mark Remover /Meguiars #9/NXT Color X



Glaze..Meguiars #7. Don't know if Zaino Z5 qualifies as a "glaze" per sec.



Carnauba Wax...Not using much carnauba wax these days so it's Z-2Pro and NXT. I've used Meguiars cleaner-wax and Gold Class in a pinch on the family car.

Tire dressings..Meguiars Endurance



Vinyl/Plastic Protectant/Polish..Meguiars plastic cleaner/polish and 303 Vinyl protectant



Leather: Lexol or Eagle One leather cleaner/conditioner



Window cleaner..Windex



Aluminum polish..Mothers



Engine Degreaser/Cleaner..My engine has grease on it? :nixweiss Mostly just elbow grease. :D
