best drying towel?

I do realize that. But before I use my blade, I always rinse it with running water on both sides to make sure any and all dirt particles are removed.

I'll say that I'm probably as meticulous about washing as anybody could be, and I work in a clean indoor environment. So I thought I could use the WB without problems and I did, for a *long* time. Then somehow something got between it and the paint and I got a scratch that I never would have instilled without it. Haven't used it on anything I care about since.

For one thing, the WB pretty much lends itself to long, sweeping motions (which I'd never do with anything else). Thus if you *do* get a scratch, it won't be some little 1" long thing ;) And by the time you clean off the WB between passes, you've already caused the scratch.

Yeah...the WB is perfectly safe... right up until something happens, a gamble that everybody has to consider for themself.

Thanks, Accumulator. I was actually hoping you'd chime in.

Very good point!!!

anyone used the DG towels? They look extremely plush but I havent actually seen one first hand - any views?

BTW - I usually flood the car, blow it with a leaf blower and am looking for the removal of the last drips and beads rather than a totally soaked car :D

many thanks

Groit's garage makes a large size ww towel with pockets it's not cheap (27.95) but it's the best i have used. I could a mid size car without ringing it out.
