I'll say that I'm probably as meticulous about washing as anybody could be, and I work in a clean indoor environment. So I thought I could use the WB without problems and I did, for a *long* time. Then somehow something got between it and the paint and I got a scratch that I never would have instilled without it. Haven't used it on anything I care about since.
For one thing, the WB pretty much lends itself to long, sweeping motions (which I'd never do with anything else). Thus if you *do* get a scratch, it won't be some little 1" long thing

Yeah...the WB is perfectly safe... right up until something happens, a gamble that everybody has to consider for themself.
