Best AIO Polish for 1 step?

I just apply to a clean surface one area at a time. Then move to next section. Come back and buff it all off. Very easy to use.

What pads, speed and how much on the pad do you recommend?

Dan: what's your zaio process?

Most cars, its a white polishing pad, probably about 5-6 pea sized dots to prime then about 2-3 per panel. A little goes a long way. Do the whole car, then buff off by hand.

A few snaps of my friends S4, we just did a quick wash, clay and ZAIO. About 2 hours invested.

One thing to watch out for with ZAIO- I used M205 for my final polish. Did an apparently less-than-thorough job of stripping the oils (hey, I *did* use PrepWash!) and it bit me in a big way! I got weird issues almost like pseudo-holograms that were only visible in certain lighting (the SunGun would show 'em) at certain angles. I was able to solve the problem with aggressive buffing using a dry foam pad (an old Griot's "Wax Removal Sponge", not sure how to describe it...kinda like a firm, but low ppi hand-application pad) and *LOTS* of elbow grease..."lots" as in several hours.

I can tell you based on Dan's advice I purchased ZAIO. I was stunned on how well it worked. It has lasted about 4 months on a DD Tahoe. I could not be more pleased. Thanks Dan..

Heh heh, I could've posted the exact same thing, except that on my Tahoe I topped it with FK1000P. Left the Crown Vic ZAIO-only last year though, and it held up a lot better than I ever expected (but I *am* gonna top it this time).

I guess I'm one of the few that's getting really good protection from KAIO. On a daily, I get anywhere from 3 to 6 months from an application, sometimes more. I rarely top it but when I do, Megs Ultimate Wax is so easy I usually reach for it the most.

Thanks Dan.

I'm assuming a da is what you use? What speeds?

Good heavens! I'm lucky to get that out of it when the vehicle sits in the garage unused

Speeds??? :D I use my GG6 like a teenage driver, its either WOT or off!!

I will say hands down HD SPEED is the product to get. We have made 3 videos today, demonstrating how well SPEED cuts. PC, FLEX 3401, FLEX 3403

M2c

I don't use AIO's much, but I do like KAIO on single stage white. Nothing I've tried works as good at removing oxidation and shinning up plastic.

Why would you need to strip off 205 oils before ZAIO, isn't it an all in one that cleans polishes and protects?

You need to strip them to avoid the pseudo-holograms that I described. (Disclaimer: I suppose some/?most? people would never have noticed them in this particular case, but *I* did and I wouldn't be caught dead with a vehicle that looked like that, even if I were the only person who knew.)

I too figured that the ZAIO would take care of the polishing oils, but, as with KAIO and SRP, it didn't work out that way. IME, those AIOS absolutely do not strip the Trade Secret Oils that are in M205.
