Now that has to have an interesting and different taste. Do you ever drink your beer warm?

Got some Southern Star Blondie Ale this past weekend. Pretty awesome stuff, would buy again for sure. Actually thinking about taking a road trip and tour their brewery.

WOW! Best rebate i ever saw on beer. Went over for a case of whatever this morning, for the weekend. BUD/BUDLIGHT in 16oz aluminum bottles. Case price of $24.25. Running a $11.99 mail in rebate. You get a pre-paid card in return. That works out to $12.26/case!! No brainer.

Going to a local brewery next Saturday :) Only $10 a person, four 8oz. servings and a free glass to drink them all in. Pretty good deal. Its called Lakewood Brewing Co. Tried their Ale last week, was pretty good. Gotta love it when you find a local brewer that makes good affordable beer.

That's what I call a deal!

May 10 we will be at The Bruery Sucreversary, looking forward to Rue D'Floyd and Rare Barrel. We have a limit of 10 tasters, will see how that works out.

So how did that event go? Do you ever go to the tasting event at Torrey Pines? I haven't been to it yet but a buddy of mine has gone the past 3 or 4 years.

It was a lot of fun, all you can drink and a Bruery taster glass.

Had Rare Barrel, Oreo Black Tuesday, Rue D'Floyd (delicious, picked up 2 bottles), Sour in the Rye with Beach Plums, Grey Monday, Bourbon Barrel Aged Mrs. Stoutfire = all favorites.

Plus an assortment of others. Lines were not too bad.

Beachwood BBQ catered.

Haven't been to Torrey Pines, who is usually there?

Nice. Sounds like a great event. It was private though right? I'll try finding some of those and giving them a try especially the Rue D'Floyd since it got a special mention and I love porters. That is if I can even find it since it is very limited.

Here is the web page from last years event at Torrey.

At The Bruery in Placentia they have the Floyd's and Black Tuesday on tap.

Nice line up of San Diego breweries at Torrey, will keep an eye open for this year.
