Bad holograms Klasse AIO

Yes it can. Everytime you touch the paint you risk marring it.

Exactly why I tell my customers (and anyone else) that unless they are washing, claying, polishing, waxing or using a QD, DO NOT TOUCH THE PAINT FOR ANY REASON.

I think that is likely the truth as well, I suggested that right away but the OP stated the car was clean, so I'm taking him at his word.

We all know how most people define 'clean'.

I'd be willing to bet also there were massive swirls underneath, a poor wash technique, no claybaring to remove contaminates, probably improper application technique and it being shiney shiney now brought the marks to the forefront.

Well i hit it with the m105 with the makita and meg's red foam pad and it fixed it up real nice. i will post pics as soon as it stops raining

Another theory is that the swirls were there before and the KAIO brought them into sharp relief.

KAIO doesn't conceal - in fact, just the opposite - it tends to highlight any marring.

If your friend's vehicle was neglected and un-waxed for some time any marring would not have been visible due to the poor condition of the finish.

If, on the other hand, he waxed frequently with an OTC wax, most OTC waxes have strong fillers that conceal marring, for example, NXT. The car will look glossy but that hides the *real* condition of the paint.

KAIO removes all waxes and fillers giving you a *true* picture of your paint. Glossy but badly in need of correction.

This makes the most sense to me. The marring was there all along and the AIO brought it out by removing what was hiding it. KAIO by itself could not have done that.

No finishing polish step?

Good work!

Those garbage microtex brand MF's at walmart (the blue and white mixed ones in a package) are absolute crap. I've seen a few cases where they caused marring like that.

Overall, isn't klasse aio a filler by any chance?

No, and in many cases it actually makes light marring *more* obvious.

It can clean off any previously-applied fillers and make problems "reappear" too.
