Baby Bentley & BMW Detail....

But my point is, why care? If you don't like it then don't buy it, but why cut people down who drive them and like them? The only reason to do that is if you feel threatened in some way.

There are very few cars that get responses like that, the H2, the 300C its envy that drives it, it always is. Envy for what I don't know, envy that someone else gets as many or more looks in their $35,000 300C as one gets in their $70k BMW who knows.

Holy crap!!!:shocked What happen to the thread!! I hope I didn't spark some controversy about 300C's compared to other luxury models. I understand every one's point, but I'm trying to stress the way this car looks after a good detail.

Excellent job on both cars, AJ! I really like the 300C; exactly what color is that?

BTW, I bet you had fun with the wheels on the 540. ;)

Thanks!!:)

I believe the color is midnight navy blue or indigo blue, I'm not sure. But I also love that color!:bow My jeep is also a similar color.

The wheels on that 540.....:angry My back and fingers never forgave me!:D

:grinno: I tried doing that, but when I try to upload the picture, it won't allow a size above 380X? or something like that. I need to get back on photohost.org, I haven't been on that site for a long time....hence me not posting pictures of my work for awhile.:)

You're right, the color on that 300 is beautiful! I am curious about the color differences in your pics. Was it due to the sun, or lack of in the before shots?

Cloudy then partly sunny. When I took the before shot, it was early in the morning, and the after shot was around noon. It also was cloudy in the morning. I made it just in time for the after shot as the sun peeked out for about 5 minutes.

Don't even speak of Chrysler's quality if you don't own one, thanks...

My family has/ has owned several Chryslers. While they may come with great options and are priced very well, the build quality it quite low. My mom's 2004 Sebring convertable (well, it's really my sister's) is very cheap inside. From the very basic knobs for temperature/fan control, to the excessive use of plastic. The car squeaks when it turns, more than just typical convertable top movement. The body flexes like crazy through hard and U turns. The other day my mom mentioned that it sounded as if the car was going to fall apart over a speed bump.

Then there are some other cars in the Chrysler line up, but there's no need to get into those.

The only car I've sat in from Chrysler (and I've been in all of the new ons) that didn't feel cheap was the Crossfire. Even if it is all plastic, it's tasteful and handsome.

That's ONLY because of MB's involvement in that car. It is quite clear that car is more MB than Chrysler.
