Autogeek vs. the Others

I buy some from ADS and I am shopping around for a better closer place. Chemical guys is to far but I like there stuff, ADS is far away (5 day shipping) oh well customer service will always win me over in the end. Thanks to Rick who on SUNDAY when they were closed, I left a message and he called back AFTER HOURS on SUNDAY 5 minutes after I left a message and explained all I could ever want to know about m105 and m95 and even took the liberty to say thanks for the call, a simple thank you goes a LONG ways, so heres to you rick Thanks!

Some people shop at Walmart even though they can't stand the service there. Others would rather pay a little more and shop at Target for less crowds and slightly better service. And then others would rather deal with a mom and pop shop for a more personable service.

We all have our reasons for why we shop at certain places. Just because AG didn't handle this situation correctly, that doesn't mean their service is horrible by any means. We're lucky to have a variety of reputable online shops to buy from. At this point the only company that all of us shouldn't give our business to is Brett at OCDgarage.com.

detaildoc, I had an issue with AG once and had complained about it on autopia and to my surprise, Jason@autogeek actually contacted me on here via PM and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. So I'm hoping someone from AG's paying attention to this thread and maybe bend their rules just a little bit for you. After all, it's only a $20 MSRP gift. That's silly of them to lose a customer over something that small, especially since you did spend more than the minimum required to get the gift and you've given them plenty of business in the past. We all make mistakes. There's still some hope that your issue will get resolved! :)

I wish this would have been a one time thing, but they have been less than helpful on more than one occasion. The gift is really no big deal, it is the way they handled the matter that sucks. I left a message for Penny on Friday explaining the situation, so we'll see what they do. Again, the gift is nothing, is the less than reputable cs that was given when I called that is the issue.

+1 on Dwayne helping you out. He was great to deal with for the couple of times that I needed help.
