I will wait to see how bad it is before making jokes. Don`t want be the guy who made jokes then 3 day later Ron`s house is gone and then I`m the insensitive jerk.

Jen and kids are heading north today, I get to stay home and puppy sit, drain pool (so far 3 times in 2 days), and sorta keep and ear/eye on my father.
 
Good Luck buddy, from a guy who endured Hurricane Sandy, my advice, is pack up the puppies, and your Dad and head north yourself.

It is so not worth the aggravation.

Park the Vette in the carage if your not near water and if flooding is an issue take it to the dealer to keep in service for an oil service ;) or the middle of parking lot with no trees that can land on it. Take to Durango and head north. When you get back, you`ll need it to navigate the downed trees and whatnot. Pick up a generator, gas cans (fill before you go) batteries and flash lights, a jump pack to charge your cell phones and some water, canned food and a manual opener.

It was no fun, and there is zero you can do if it hits other than get hurt. So get out of dodge my good buddy.

Same here!! Nevermind the current situation - I`ll take a few inches of snow over FL`s heat and humidy any day. Hope this whole thing blows over and doesn`t affect any of you FL guys too much. Promise to keep us updated.
