But in all seriousness, be careful out there. Pack up the pups, the DMTs, and bail if you have to.
 
Isn`t it only a tropical system and due to head at the panhandle more so than where you`re at?? In either case, if your vette (or you and the pup) need a place to stay, you`re welcome to come to our coast. We`re dog friendly too.
 
We lived in Sebastian when those 2 came by several years ago. The eye went right over both times. It was awesome actually. Didnt lose one shingle, had a tear in our screen around our pool. The sucky part was 10 days without power twice in what, six weeks. Bought a generator when dealing with the first one. Drove a truck for a pal who was working on the clean up. There was an area about 3 football fields large filled with brush and palm trees.
 
I might add, if they are spray painting the street names @ intersections be kinda worried. They do that because after the devastation is so bad no one recognizes anything and dont know where they are.

My comment on "Skill & timing" was meant that I left CT the day before Hurricane Sandy hit. The day before that I made sure the EOC was set up ready to go, turned in all my stuff, the skiddadled so I didn`t get forced to stay.
 
I have to tell you Ron .. the week and a half we have been here and the next week ahead, have been and are forecasted to some of the best weather I`ve ever seen.. good thing I`m missing the rain...but ya`ll be safe and dry
 
Looks like it`s going to take a north track and effect the Mid Atlantic. They are calling for several inches of rain. So much for a holiday beach weekend :(
