I've just completed a multi-step paint restoration on my black Buick Grand National:
Results are great (pics coming after the final step) and I'm going to finish with Zaino, which I've always used with great results on this finish. I have all of the polish off, but am curious as to whether I'll get best results by applying the Zaino directly over the unwashed surface OR washing first.
I'm guessing that some oils remain even after my microfiber toweling and have know base of knowledge on whether I'd want them there filling the small imperfections or whether they'll foul up the Zaino application.
I'll call Sal Zaino with the same question and post the results, but thought I'd see what folks here are doing with this.
Thanks folks,
Scott
