Anyone ever waxed their toliet or appliances?

I redid a half bath and figured I would give the NXT 2.0 the ultimate test...so I waxed the outside and inside of the toilet. I will say that the inside did help keep the material from staying but the longevity I don't think was the best.



On the appliances, the dishwasher and stove doors were looking pretty rough so I waxed then and they came out GREAT! Don't ask how I got these ideas. Lets just say the detailing bug is getting to be not being able to detail my car yet.
 
I really am reading a lot on detailing. I love the idea of taking something from a "not so good looking" to a "wow" level.
 
I was once cleaning up my electronics really well and got the idea to wax my video game consoles. I used some turtle wax that I was no longer using on my car. They looked really great, my N64 looked particularly great. Best of all, no need to worry about scratching paint. If I have any auto detailing products that I no longer want for my car, I use them in the house. No waste, and who doesn't love that smell.
 
Not waxing, but I did polish up some cultured marble countertops:

you do that too.....my wife thinks i am nutz but a coat every few months keeps my shower spotless....i also use my gilli to foam the shower when i clean it....:buffing:



i wax the exterior windows in my house or use rainX on them depending on my mood....



i have wet sanded and polished out corian countertops....



i use Megs APC diluted 10:1 all over the house...wifey says it smells nice...:2thumbs:



last touch on the appliances works great....



and dont get me started on MF cloths...i have as many in the house for chores as i do for detailing....



its an addiction...LOL

Ive always wanted to do that!!!! We have so many windows that it would take forever but I cant stand how the water just sheets off when it rains! :nomore:
 
Has anyone here waxed the exterior of their house? I'm looking at our house and we have painted metal siding, and it makes me wonder if anyone would be crazy enough to wax it.

I hate the way my windows look. Especially when my father came over and said they lookl like crap. Stoners with a MF then a coat of NXT after that should help a lot. Would love Collinite but they don't have it locally from what I can tell.
 
I also use Megs APC 10:1 in both the kitchen, bathroom and many other places also, works great. I will try to wax or do something about my shower, the glass panels get pretty ugly if not cleaned very often.
 
:buffing: FK 1000C and FK425 on my glass shower doors (both sides!), bathroom sink and granite counter top! :buffing:
