Anyone ever waxed their toliet or appliances?

wow, never thought of doing my oven. My oven can get quite hot and messy.

Were there any fumes or worries about spills and burning?

I'd say if you where going to wax the stove I just wouldn't bother putting anything on the burners or inside.

I've defintely used Collinite 476s and RainX in the house before. Shower, marble, glass, etc...

I even had a guy ask me to restore his marble counter top in his kitchen. I had to wetsand, compound and polish. I even added a little 476s for him.

I have waxed many things in life but a toilet is not one of them nor with it ever be one of them. my asz would slide off every time i sat on it plus i would have carnuba ring around my toilet an butt:lol

Never did the toilet, but do put Nufinish (save the good stuff for the car) on the snow shovels and the inside of the snow blower housing so the snow never sticks even when it is wet.

Also use ONR to wash all the windows in the house. Normal dilution--wipe widow with a well wrung out MF--then dry with a WW. Does a great job, it's quick and helps keep the windows cleaner longer because of the polymers it leaves behind.

Hmm.... I might have to try that! :think2

hmm, I'm bringing my Wii to a friend's place and I know there will be kids. Maybe I'll apply a coat of wax to protect it.... :)
