Another Jar of Souveran or Something Else?

Personally never had a problem with removing #26, it does give a nice deep glow. Plus getting it for $1.00 at Autozone last year didn't hurt either. Natty's Blue gets a thumbs up along with S100/P21S. Would like to try Trade Secret it always looks great along with Max Wax. I'm thinking you're going to love the Natty's.

I'm surprised Carnauba Moose Wax doesn't get more mentions when wax threads pop up. It's probably one of the best waxes at deepening dark colors. And since it's a liquid, application is a breeze. If scent is important, it may be a problem though since it has the typical Clearkote solventy smell.

Me too. It's way more subtle than most waxes though; like generally people who like nattys don't really like CMW. Natty's is more blingy-wet-reflective while CMW is really deep, dark, and "glowy". It's like choosing your favorite wine. I really love CMW over RMG or VM... and like you mentioned, it's laughably easy to remove even in the sun.

#26 is a good wax but it does darken the paint in my experience and it doesn't remove nearly as easily as Souveran or P21S.

I have a few jars of Natty Blue, Reg Natty, Max Wax, S100, #26, Liquid Souv, and Opt Spray Wax. First for me would be Nat Blue, Max, then Opt Spray wax (for a spray, I don't think it can be beat). I am dying to try reg Souv, TS, Pizazz, and Zymol ti or Carbon. Anyone who would like to try any of mine above, I'll trade big samples for a small sample of yours just so I can try them out. I'm hooked for sure.

I feel that you have described CMW the same way I describe P21S/S100. When I use my Nattys blue the paint is obviously crazy-wet and blingy like you describe, and conversely my P21S is the deeper, darker, warmer shine.

Would you say that P21S is about on par with CMW?

Thanks.

I tried Zymol Concours every way possible to look good but it just wasn't right for "MY" car. Give me my Souveran back.

I'm really surprized no one has suggested Zymol Concours. Personally (if money isn't the object) I think you'd love it. There was a recent thread about Zymol Estate "Glazes" (they used to call them wax ;) ). It's worth a read.

Yep; I find they are very similar. I'd have a heck of a time telling the two apart but if I had to pick how they differ I'd say P21S is a little wetter/slicker, while CMW has even more of that subtle deep glow thing going on.

Well-stated. I completely agree.

If you ever feel like parting with some of your Concours wax, please keep me in mind  I know it's a fine line between that and souveran on a lot of cases but someday I'll fork the money over to try some out, cheers.

i think victoria waxes would be worth a shot. there alot like zymol in that there the wowo hand thingy. check them out at www.victoriawax.com I use them everyone in a while and really like them, they do an amazing job

David Wyllie Sr. of Victoria Wax used to be the Zymol distributor for (Western?) Canada until he had a falling out with Zymol (long story). I tried a couple of his "prototype" waxes and found them hard to work with (ie hard to remove). Times may have changed and certainly the price point is right (esp. compared to Zymol).

I have heard before that the wax was hard to remove. i havent found this. however i do a light rub with a mf cloth to get most of the wax offf and then from there i buff off the rest. I find that with 2 passes it comes off no problem. I would say give the new stuff a try. I have yet to find a victoria product i dont like

That's great. The early stuff I tried was back in '98 when he was working on his formulas.

RE #26 being hard to remove . . . . are you guys sure you aren't applying too much? I use it in paste form, and haven't found removal to be an issue unless I apply way too much. Typically I let the wax dry 10-20 minutes, and then easily buff it off with an MF.
