Another Jar of Souveran or Something Else?

If you're tired of the smell of Souveran, then you'll definitely love Natty's Blue! Smells just like bubble gum.

I would respectfully suggest that you try Meguiar's #26 high tech yellow wax. There are some/many who say that it is as good as Souverign, and the price is right -- about $12-13 for paste. If you like it, then you've found yourself a bargain. And if you don't, you can always trade.

That wax looks OK, but it's one of the worst ones as far as application goes. My arm needs an ice pack when I'm done buffing it off!

Honestly I don't care for the smell of Natty's Blue. The old Signature smells good as long as you don't take in too much of it. Probably my favorite so far is Optimum Spray Wax :D

Lord isnt that the truth. I have a whole can sitting in the detailing bins because I refuse to use it due to removal.

My jar of Souveran is almost empty and I'm trying to decide whether I should buy another one or try something else (only interested in a paste carnauba). I am sure I'm probably the only one that feels this way, but I actually can't stand the way Souveran smells. To me it is really overly sweet and nauseating. I'm after the wettest look possible and appreciate ease of use. I wax every four weeks, so I'm not that concerned with durability. How would FK1 Pink compare? How about Natty's Blue? The wax will primarily be used on a red Porsche and a Silver Lexis. The Porsche is the priority though. Many thanks!

I'm really surprized no one has suggested Zymol Concours. Personally (if money isn't the object) I think you'd love it. There was a recent thread about Zymol Estate "Glazes" (they used to call them wax ;) ). It's worth a read.

Clearkote carnauba might be worth checking out too; very deep glow over RMG or VM.

I'm surprised Carnauba Moose Wax doesn't get more mentions when wax threads pop up. It's probably one of the best waxes at deepening dark colors. And since it's a liquid, application is a breeze. If scent is important, it may be a problem though since it has the typical Clearkote solventy smell.

You can always send me the last of the Souveran too Id love to try it lol, its too rich for my blood.

What is left is crushed up and a bit a nasty looking. That said, I am happy to send what's left. Shoot me a PM with your info and I'll send it off. Yikes. That sounds worse than it is. I'm happy to send you what's left of it.

I think its worth the 50 you can find it for....70????? maybe not for some....but i love mine

It's expensive, but I'm only waxing one or two cars, so that's okay. Lebowski has been cool enough to offer me some S100 and I'm buying some Natty's Blue, so we'll see how it goes! If I can tell a difference, will buy more Souveran.

I'd like to try Natty's Blue as well so if anyone has a little bit left they don't want some time I'd be happy to take it.

Right now I'm gonna be sticking with the p21s as I've a lot of it :)

the cheapest ive found it for is 58 dollars shipped. Still stick to EX and Natty's for the super wet look

Derf, when I send you the s100 I will send you a sample of CMW and #26 as well.

You're one hell of a good guy Lebowski :bigups

On a side note, I've heard good things on Opt's Carnauba (havn't tried); will probably be my next carnauba to try out before hitting the Souveran world...(and when I can justify the cost :/)
