SRP has a turpentine-like smell, sorta like oil-based artist's paints, which somehow pleases me. Others might not care for it, but again, I just like using the stuff.

I don't think your questions are stupid.
Are you referring to Zaino Z-2 Pro? I'm a little confused. Do I understand that you use this in lieu of SG or UPP? Then this should mean that it is a sealant, despite the fact that it is called a car polish?
yes Zaino is a sealant and has no polishing capabilties. I'm not sure why they call it a polish. It serves the same function as UPP and SG.
Also, do you use the Zaino without the ZFX? Would Zaino without the ZFX turn out well? I sort of didn't want to complicate my life just yet with mixing products in vials.
ZFX rocks, once you use it you wont regret it. It's not complicated at all, you put an once of any Z polish in a bottle then put 5 drops of ZFX and boom, you can do multiple coats and the coats will be more durable. The small bottles are ideal to handle and when ZFX is in the product it allows for micro spreading of any Zaino polish. If you use the polish alone it will go on thick. With ZFX you can put two coats on a car with an ounce, suv 1.5, huge suv 2 oz. I've heard you can use z2pro w/o ZFX but I haven't tried it yet. I personally think ZFX was the single most important development in detailing in recent years. Someday other sealant company's will develop and instant cure but if you want to put two coats, even if it's just on the hood and roof, you have to use ZFX or wait 24 hours at least with any other product. One bottle of ZFX will treat 2 bottles at least of any Zaino polishes. I have had good results w/o ZFX but nowhere as good as with ZFX. If you don't get the ZFX let the product dry for a long time. Don't worry about too long there's no such thing with Zaino, if you left it on for two days it would wipe off easy. But I'd try the ZFX at least once if I was you.
So sorry again for my stupid questions. I just wanted to be enlightened.
I just applied Wolfgang over 5 week old AIO and SGx2 and wow what a high gloss . Car looks like it was dipped in varnish.bmax said:Just got some of the Wolfgang Deep Gloss from the Autogeek"s give-a-wayAll I can say is that it rocks. EZ on and off, killer gloss and real slick.:up
