Afraid to place another order

I am going to buy the 7336 from Lowes, once i buy this how do

I attach the pads. If I dont but the velcro backed plate how do pads attach??

Also does anyone know what else i would need and if i could buy it at Lowes?

The 7336 from Lowes comes with a sanding disc that accepts adhesive-backed sandpaper discs. If you want to use the velcro-backed CMA pads, you'll have to get the velcro disc. I got mine from CMA. I'm sure some of the other online retailers sell them, but I don't know where.

Someone may sell adhesive backed pads, but that would make them "one use" pads. I'd go ahead and order the velcro deal from CMA.

Nothing else you need to get from Lowes (for the PC anyway).:p

The pad is screwed on. Unit has the female thread and nut while the pad had the male thread. To assemble turn pad using wrench on nut to give it a final tightening. Do not overtighten.

Velcro pads, AKA "Hook and loop", are very common. As are the velcro backing plates. You might be able to purchase them from an auto paint supply house. Call around to a few and ask if they have a 6 inch velcro backing plate for a Dual Action Random Orbital. I am pretty sure Meguiars makes one for orbitals, I have a Meguiars backing plate on my DeWalt rotary and it works great. :up

I'd like to place another order but I can't confirm movement on my first order. If anyone at PAC is following up on concerns, I'd like to know that my order is being processed and that if I place an order today it will be processed and filled as well. My previous order is 201129. I really do want the stuff in this order and would like to place another. Feedback please.

What confuses me, is for the past 5 days you have repeatedly said how much you love this place and that it has become like a family to you (me 2)

Then you make a thread basically saying you think your going to get robbed if you place an order

I find this odd

Trouble :-?

Don't read too much into what I said. I never said they took my money. I never said they plan to charge me and not ship. I know that if they charge, they will ship. I said I see no movement on my order, meaning I don't see it on my bank statement. Sheesh, Trouble I'm not accusing anyone or anything. I just don't want to get my hopes up on a product I need and can't get anywhere else. Some of the products (besides Blackfire) only PAC has. Can I count on the webiste saying it was in stock, that is all I really meant. No one is stealing my money, I know that.

Well then place your order :wizard:

No need to exit now biolink, and I'm sorry if I came across a little harsh. I have a very hard time sugar coating things. It drives my wife crazy too if thats any condolences

Hi Bio-

I totally understand your concern with placing another order. When the servers were struck by lighting we lost the ability to auto-track the orders. All orders are being have to be manually inputted (inputed?) which doesn't not send out the automated shipping information.

I know that 100s and 100s of orders are being processed manually and sent out the door. In fact, Jack's wife was at the office until after 9:30 last night double checking orders, shipping charges, etc to make sure the orders have shipped correctly. I get that it is frustrating, I have been trying to follow up on several orders that people asked me to look into and its simply not that easy.

I can assure you that Jack is a man of integrity and anybody who places an order before midnight tonight will receive it (or a refund if the item is already sold out).

Wow! Bio

That wasn't directed at YOU. Don't let it hurt your feelings. You're not Trouble.

Your post didn't include any you, your or you're.

:)

I misunderstood your post. Sorry. Maybe I am the testy one here.

Good times!

I like the lack of sugar coating. It's the speculation and so forth that is getting to me. Not you.

Thanks Todd! My concern was that an order I placed much later than the first one was on my bank account and the first one was not. Manual processing explains a lot though. Was just curious if the website inventory can be counted on that's all. Never worried about paying and not getting stuff. That's not my worry.

Wandered back to Autopia and see you there alive and well. Love it! I really liked the small nature of this place.
