Advanced Swirl Remover Vs IP with a little note about S-100

Don't worry, you're not the only one. It's not so much that it clouds the finish for me, but I think it highlights imperfections a bit. It seems to remove some of the glazing effect of vanilla moose on my black car, so when you look side by side on a panel with and without s100, the side with s100 appears a little bit hazier or cloudier. Since then I've just stuck with using vanilla moose without a topper on my own car.

It would highlight imperfection bacause it's the most reflective wax you can buy, unless you want to spend a lot more on a white nuba product. The problem might be that you are putting an oil on an oil. Vanilla mouse is oily to say the least, then you wax the oil, maybe that is where the problem is. I've used s100 on AIO, p21s paint cleanser, over water based sealants, and by itself 100's of times with no clouding or ill effects.

I have not had that happen once in 2 years of using the product every 4-8 weeks.

Can't say I ever had that happen either  :nixweiss

Sounds possible.. I think a lot of other people have used s100 over vanilla moose without any of the problems i described, so i'm probably just an isolated case.

In the near future I will try AIO with s100.

"about the S-100 I was very disapointed It seemed to darken the color and mute out the matalic flake."

I have to disagree, i used s100 on my metallic paint and brought out the metallics more than PS did. For me, PS did mute the metallics very little but it looked deeper and wetter than s100 but s100 is more reflective and clearer.
