GOT PREP?
Well, they're both blue with white stripes.
This viper belongs to the manager of a local speed shop. I have done work for them before and it’s always great. The cars are typically in good shape and they send referrals to me quite a bit.
This guy DRIVES this car, I am not sure about the exact mods, but I know that it has engine management and naaaaaaawwwws.
The car had been washed by a hack a few weeks back and he swirled it up pretty bad. He used an acid based wheel cleaner on the wheels and basically ruined them. They are uncoated aluminum!!! :soscared: The acid flash oxidized the metal, NXT metal polish cleaned them up nicely, but there are still areas that need work (between the spokes).
The interior was a breeze (no pics), just vaced then wiped everything down with Costco APC 10:1.
Total work time was 5 hours.
Process for the paint was:
-Wash with Meguiars hyper wash
-Clay with Meguiars aggressive clay
-Apply Meguiars #83 dual action cleaner polish via the rotary and a polishing pad @1200 RPM’s
-Apply Meguiars #80 speed glaze via the PC @ speed 5
-Apply two thin coats of Meguiars NXT
Glass cleaned with NXT glass cleaner
Tires dressed with Meguiars all-season dressing

Full car:
Yep, he drives it!! That's rubber. :cooleek:
