Thanks, Dave, I got that info from someone called Elan yesterday also. Unfortuately, Edmonton is a bit far for me to drive to have a look.:(



Oh, well, maybe I'll see at a car show or something. In the meantime, I am going to go to Home Depot to have a look-see to see if something strikes my fancy.
 
I'm going to try out laying VCT tiles on my floor, and see how they hold up. I'm hoping that if I wax/seal the floor the tires won't cause any major problems.
 
I'm going to be installing this in my garage once the humidity drops.

Probably like a number of those on this forum, I visit other forums concerning detailing. In my opinion, this forum is one of the easiest to navigate around as well as good useful information. I hope that the people picking up Blackfire products will keep the forum open. Just a thought :)
 
Not likely. Todd Helme is the new director of BF and is over at AutopiaForum, as is Angelo. The best part of this site is the knowledge and family feeling. It now feels like a broken home. I hope it rebounds and I wish some of those former moderators will return as members and continue to provide their expertise.
 
You know, I was hoping this place would stay together, but it looks like most everyone has gone on to live2detail..
I tried to register there but got kicked out as a spammer, and I have never spammed anything, anywhere...

Maybe you will have better luck there.

I have heard places kick out spammers but it is usually their rules against certain mail domainsl like aol, gmail, etc.

I also tried to register at Live2detail and was denied as a spammer...which I am NOT! And there isn't even a phone number to contact. I am running Firefox but the g-mail shouldn't have anything to do with it because I was on the Live2detail web site. In addition who ever designed the site picked out the worst colors to read by! probably some real good people have drifted over there but the site itself "Sucks!!"

L2D is a great site IMO and Im sorry you wrongly got denied by some spam filter. There isnt a phone number because its not a store run forum. Was there at least an email address to write to?

I would talk to the owner for you but since you said the site sucks I wont.

Everyone has an opinion. I do like darker backgrounds.
 
Some guys complain about DB layout and colors, and swear they will never go there. Funny thing is, they are there, and quite often.

I like DB over AF layout.
 
I sure miss the old operation!

When I first started ordering at PAC I would order over the weekend. My order would ship out on Monday and arrive on Friday before a weekend of detailing. Since the closing of PAC I have placed two orders with PBMG on a weekend but the orders don't ship until Tuesday. Therefore, orders don't arrive until the following Monday. May seem like a small deal but if I need a product for the weekend it becomes a big deal. Before I give up on on the new ship I will try placing an order on Friday and see if them gives PBMG ample time to sit on my order.

Detailers Domain Ships lightning fast. If you have a special project as I did, Phil got it out thbe same day. I had my box the next day less than 15 hrs after order. I am in NY and he is in NJ.
