put it on the car instead of the pad. use ~8 inch bead of product, get the rotary rpms up and "pick up the product" with the rotary by going over it at a slightly raised angle.

1500 rpm on a LC Polishing Pad. Use a 6-8 inch bead for a 2'x2' area. Make 3 slow, overlapping passes. This has never let me down

Any help?

So you don't put the 8' bead, rather a quarter size drop* or nickel drop?
* --> Does a "quater size drop" mean a full blob quarter size or the a circle of product drawn to a wuater size?
Sorry for all these strange questions, but it's just that after 7 months of learning here at Autopia, 278 posts, and my first detailing experience (not as well as I had hoped), I am still such a noob.
But thanx (everyone) for the help once again.
