One thing I have learned from this site is you have to go with what makes you happy. Not everyone is going to like the same products. Sure there are a couple of products that a lot of people use and like, but not everyone likes the same product for every situation.
Autopia seems to go through phases. I remember when i first got on here a few years ago, everyone said stay away from Zaino. Now Zaino is all the rage again around here. And of course it deserves that rage, excellent products. Zaino has put a lot of effort into making their products easier to use. And for the longest time I have heard that Collinite is a protection wax only, pain to use and pain to get off once the winter is over and you want to go with some better looking summer wax. And all the talk about it not looking that great, but it protects good. Then all of the sudden that started to change. Some people on here starting using it becuase they went against the grain and found that the rumors for the most part were not true. The ease of use was good, durability was good, and the look was very attractive. Sure this wax may not be a Souveran to most people, but to some it's more attractive than Souveran. I personally am not a real big fan of Souveran, but that's me. Other people on here use it and love it, but that's what make this detail game so much fun. And at the same time it can get you in trouble. You really have to find what you like.
BTW, I just used 845 for the first time over this past weekend. I will most likely be getting rid of all the other waxes I have. Including my Zaino, Trade Secret, Natty's, and all my sealants. This wax has really made a difference in how i view a wax to suit my needs. It's easy to apply, easier to remove, and the beading is just insane. Doesn't mean much, but it makes it easier to wash. And for someone like myself who works 6 days a week right now, I need a wax like this. But even if i worked 5 days, I would still use it. This wax is truly in a league by itself. Not saying it's better than anything out there, but in my eyes it's perfect for what I look for in a wax.
