I'm no expert so using something like #83 I have to follow with something less aggressive like #9.I tend to get some hazing in spots that need to be addressed before using something like NXT on top.Some on here who know way more than I may not need to follow with #9 or #82 when using #83 and can go right to a LSP(last step product).
 
NXT doesnt really remove hardly anything. We had a gigantic discussion on it in the MEg's forum i think, and it has some slight cleaning capability, by removes almost nothing that is under it. Therefore, even if you do have #82 or #83 or #9 under the NXT, it shouldnt remove enough to make a noticible difference.



I dont really think anybody understands exactly what you are asking though. Hope this helps.
 
Just go #82/NXT. You don't need another very similar polishing step if you work #82 properly. If you want an finer polish before applying NXT, go with #81 Hand Polish.

Or from what we saw yesterday, work the 83 well and then NXT. :bounce

NXT may remove some of the polishing oils left by #9 but it won't remove the deeper polishing properties of #9.
