After it was all done the owner took it home and put the lights, grill, and bumpers on. Also he lowered it and swapped on a set a Prostars for a MUCH better look! Here are the pics he took...

Thank you if you made it this far! Hope you enjoyed it!

Holy Mother Mary!!! Awesome work man. \m/ Thanks for the share.

p/s I'm a sucker for classic cars with big fat Mickey Thompson.

Fantastic job

I'm new to detailing. I don't understand how you fix orange peel look in paint. I figured you would only be working with clearcoat when detailing a car.

Awesome work Jeff! :cornut:

That 3M fine line tape is the bomb! ;)

How did you like polishing out the sanding marks from the tall vertical sides of that hood scoop? I did a similar one on an Eleanor clone and my back was killing me! :D

Jeff - way to bring to up to spec! That is how it should be from the painters, but as you show, that is not the case. I don't see the rubber marks from letting out the clutch in your driveway :w00t::w00t:

Thanks buddy! Your writeup on the red firebird helped me a lot. I love that tape too!

Oh that hood scoop just about drove me over the edge! It was VERY challenging. And involved many pills of Advil. But I worked it till it was perfect nonetheless.

Very impressive work Jeff.
That was just awesome!!!:notworthy:

Thank you!!

Thanks grungy! Thankfully this think was an automatic so I didn't have to worrry about a 68-camaro-sized hole in the back wall of my garage! However its got a big stall converter in it and a heavy gas pedal, so it was tricky to keep it from launching out from under me. I did leave (2) 20" wide rubber strips on the entrance to the garage when the tires slipped when it was wet. Lol, it took an hour to scrub them off! :driving:

While the 1968 Camaro is not my favorite body style, it's not far off. My all time favorite is the 1969 and all I can say is WOW, what a prize of a car and the quality of your work is outstanding!

I'm a fan of the earlier year Camaro and since there's little difference between the 68 and 69 I'll take it!! :hurray:

Superb work Jeff!!

That is just plain amazing!!! Thanks for sharing it with us here and rest assured we know the labor involved in getting it to those final pics. (I had to scroll through 15 minutes of photos to finally get the engine shot :-B)
