I had 11:00 until 16:00 to refreshen up my GF`s MG.
The car is a 2004 MGTF 1.8 with 135bhp.
It has 4500 miles on it.
So far in its life I had put a coat of NXT wax on it when new.
It wasnt in bad condition, just a few light scratches in the clearcoat.
The car looks better than it was due to some bright sunlight...
The process..
Wash with Eurow wool mitt with Simonez car wash(2 bucket method)
Tar spots removed with Autoglym Intensive tar remover(car was heavily covered with spots)
Clayed with blue claymagic
Polished out the scratches and swirls with SSR2.5 with Lake Country yellow VC pad.(PC set between 5-6)
Bonnet had follow up with SSR1 with a green sonus pad(PC on 5).
Whole car including glass/lights then had VM applied with a blue sonus pad(PC on 4).
I then hand applied #16 to the bodywork and EX-P to the wheels.
The tyres had Bold n Bright applied.
Tailpipes had WD40 and a quick rub with a cotton cloth.
Heres after...its started to snow, so they are quick snaps before it was put away.
Megs #16 is just a great product, I think it suits this colour really well.
