#425... I hate when people say WOW!

From my bit of experience in business I have the solution for FK.

1. Double the price (make more per sale)

2. Cut the quantity in half (save money on materials and shipping)

3. If the sales drop (save energy)

4. If sales maintain level (have more $$motivation)

5. If sales increase (hire more help save energy)

6. Have a $100 minimum dollar amount per order (save more energy)

Then everyone will be happy. Yes?

It is not even funny. This company does not deserve such underdeveloped words. My 2 €-cents.

FWIW

I placed an order for a gallon of #425 on Thursday afternoon, Feb 2nd. I received a confirmation email within the hour informing me that my order would not ship until the beginning of the next week. On Monday, February 6th, I received another email saying that my #425 would ship the next day. I received my order on Friday, Feb 10th, with a complimentary sample of the Pink Wax. Finish Kare actually exceeded my expectations with the free sample and I was very satisfied with the whole order process.

Have I ever received any detail supplies ordered online any quicker? YES. I have also had to wait much longer than 8 days without receiving two notifications detailing when my goods would ship. The bottom line for me is that I won't hesitate to order from them again. YMMV!

By the way the #425 product also exceeded very lofty expectations.

This morning I cleaned up the Jeep with some DP Waterless Wash and then used FK425 for the first time. The Jeep has DP Spray Sealant and maybe 2 coats of Max Wax on top, the last being put on in maybe Sept. The 425 went on very easy and increased the shine and slickness unbelievably. The Jeep still had some slickness and shine but the 425 made a huge difference.

Great product, I cant wait to do a full detail on both vehicles with FK polish, sealant, wax.

Something to consider is that FK main clients are automotive manufacturers- that bulk business allows them to price consumer products low and keep shipping costs low too. They are not strictly a consumer oriented website/business like most that you deal with. They are a direct selling manufacturer.

In mfg it is not uncommon for bulk or container orders to have a 4-6 week lead time with advanced payment prior to production. Getting a bottle or two a couple days late from fresh stock sounds like a good deal vs something that has been setting around for who knows how long.

Ordered. D:< Hope this stuff is good!

You aren't worried about the product freezing up when it is being shipped?

I told myself I wouldn't buy detailing supplies until march-april.

Any freezing and most products are just garbage.

At commercial flight elevations (-50°C) it is no matter what stands in the calendar. However most airliners have some heating in the cargo bays/rooms.

Mostly worried about the UPS, Fed-Ex trucks. Gotta drive it from the airport at some time and it is getting cold in our city now.

Well...I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first 31oz bottle of 425. It came in yesterday via USPS...empty. Letter of apology from postal service.

I contacted FinishKare...they immediatley e-mailed me back and are sending out another bottle gratis. Good cutsomer service goes a long way in my book, as they were clearly not at fault. :2thumbs: for FK.

Clearly not at fault?? It looks to me from your picture that they sent it in a priority mail envelope. I would call the shipper at fault, not the carrier when you send a quart bottle of liquid in an envelope.

I received my bottle of 425 the other day in a nice, sturdy box along with a sample of pink wax. Fast shipment and well packaged. Can't wait to try it!

:werd:

A quart bottle in a envelope is about as stupid as it gets. :doh

Maybe not so clear...but what remains of the box is on top of the envelope.

OK, I see it now. As it happens, I just got a gallon :o , came FedEx Ground, and there was some leakage in the box...looks like maybe it froze, expanded, and leaked out some...although it seems like the box was upside-down at some point, despite the arrows on the box.
