$350 AUTOGEEK order came in. Happy, Angry, and confused!

Happy- Glad this stuff came!!! Like Christmas came early!!!



Confused- I got the PC and megs #83, #80, and #21 to use in my freshly paintd, heavily swirrled black car. I got the edge 2000 pad KIT, with the conditioner/cleaner.



Can you give me suggestions on which pad to use with the #83, #80, and #21? How much of each product do i use? How do i know if its enough/too much? How often, and how, do i clean the pads?





Angry- Not necessarlily at Autogeek, but the 40 dollar bottle of M21 they sent me was previously opened, AND had a small hole in it....leaving all my brand new toys soggy and smelling good. I'm writing them at the moment to see how they resolve this... I'm sure it was just an accident, as they have great reports on here....still a little ticked though....



Question- Since almost 1/3 or 1/2 of the M21 leaked out, should i just toss the entire thing, since i dont know how well it was mixed when it leaked? Do these products tend to "settle" or do they stay mixed up?

With the PC i also got 3 LC orange pads and XMT fine swirl remover and finish glaze. Is the XMT stuff crap, or is it good to keep around?
 
Have you called or E-mailed Autogeek? Seems like most people that have had something wrong with their order have been pretty happy with the customer service response. I'd let them know what happened with your #21 and see what they'll do for you. I'm afraid I don't have much experience with Megs polishes or edge pads so I'm not really qualified to help out on that front, good luck!

Yeah, i'm trying to stay calm...just a lil bummed cause i wanted to jump right into this stuff! Not to mention i just spent time cleaning a huge, messy box full of presents!



Dont get me wrong...I'm not flaming them at all. I just wrote them, and we'll see how its handled. I'll hold judgement till then... Anyone have pointers for me though!?
 
I can garuntee they will tkae care of you. AG is awsome, stuff happens and they know that. I would just e-mail or call them. They are all great staff, i would stay calm they will help you out

How much product is enough? How do i know if its too much?



Do i toss the 1/2 bottle of m21, or can i start goofing off with it? Does that stuff stay mixed, or does it settle differently, making it possible only a certain chemical leaked, leaving a different mixture in the bottle? HELP!!!!



I would have researched earlier, but my last final was today! Now i'm free and ready to play! I feel like the kid who gets a badass bike for christmas, but its not assembled!! lol.
 
I have no doubt Autogeek will take care of you. I placed an order with them a few weeks ago when they were offering a $50 gift with orders over $50. I got the order but there was no free gift in the box. So, I called them and a few days later there was a jar of Souveran ($80 value BTW) sitting on my door step.
 
Don't worry AG will make it rite. I asked for a sample of

a product and they sent me a whole 32oz bottle when

I spent $100.00 with them. They are OUTSTANDING

to deal with !!!

i had an order get a little messy from autogeek. send me the old version of optimum polish. next day they they shipped me a new bottle 3 day select, and let me keep the old one . . .



they will help you out . . .

Because all the focus is on the opened bottle. LOL Maybe try starting another thread?

I'd help you out, but I dont know much about the megs system.
 
anyone else find that megs bottles leak or break easier than other brands



ive also had caps leak in the mail , and had bottles burst....always megs :(



let us know how AG resolve it...im sure they will
 
I haven't had any Meg's bottle leak or bust on me yet. These orders were all from ADS. My gallon of All Season Dressing was a bit squished from shipment, but it didn't leak or anything. Rick from ADS has always taped up the caps whenever I ordered from him.

I get my Megs stuff from Pep boys or from Rick. Rick @ADS does a fantastic job packaging stuff. He must realize what goes on at UPS.:grinno:

I did send them an email with pictures(so they dont think i'm asking for freebies) last night. Still no reply...but i'll give it another day before getting upset...everyone seems to like the company, which is good to hear.
