New Car Prep for the owner of this beautiful volvo. I really have to give it up to volvo for doing a great job on this car. I wish it was around when I was looking to buy a car.

For those that care, owner just got a bunch of mods such as coil overs, chip, exhaust, intake, 3" down pipe. It has a nice deep sound not ricey at all. Car really just needed a good clay and some light polishing.

Process

Meguiars APC+ diluted 4:1

P21S Wheel Gel

Dryed with Waffle Weave Microfiber Towels

Chemical Guys clay /w ONR QD strength

Debadging Process

Hair Dryer

Plastic scraper

Goo Gone

Polish out remaining residue with PC & 4" Orange LC Pad with Prima Swirl

Paint Correction

Makita 9227c @ 1200 on Lake Country White pad and Prima Finish fine polish

Rinsing the car down

Prima Mystique car soap in squeeze bottle that measures out exactly 1 oz so I know how much soap I'm using and P21S Total Auto Wash used as pre-wash degreaser for lower panels and bugs/tar.

After the car is covered, I let it dwell for 5 minutes before rinsing off.

3 buckets. 1 is for wheels & tires. 1 is soap water & the other is rinse water.

Notice anything different. Where'd the badging go?

2 things i've noticed about debadging. 1. The hotter it is, the easier it comes off. Just don't burn yourself. I almost did when picking up the letters/numbers. 2. The newer the car, the easier the adhesive comes off. I tried to help my friend debadge his 2003 lancer and it wasn't very easy.

Taped up and ready for polish

Prima Finish - A fine polish used for light polishing.

Received my 1st order from Zaino recently and decided to try it out.

Now onto the after shots

Be careful when you see this on the streets. That little sticker means he's pushing close to 300 hp.

Hello!

Many times Americans have said, oh how i wish we had those kinda Ford engines when they see the British Focus ST. The ST runs a Volvo 5 cylinder (inline) turbo 2.5L and here it is in a proper Volvo. Im pretty sure its not a the 2.0 as mentioned by original poster as that isnt avalible in the USA?

The detaling is great and an excellent choice to pull off the Volvo sticker as it makes the back looks much nicer!

Great to see another Prima user! How did you like the Zaino? Fantastic job!

Geoff

That's a pretty badass little car. First time I've seen one.

Great job on the detail...I'm going to have to take the Zaino plunge soon.

No the poster is correct. Here in the us we get to different motors. The 1.0 and 2.0. SO the st does have the better engine!

But the C30 is a nice car! :bigups

That is an interesting little car. Do you have any interior shots?

GREAT JOB!!!

Sorry I didn't since I didn't detail the interior. It was immaculate. I should have tho.....

are u saying the car is a 2.0Litre of version 2.0? I might have been confused if you meant version 2.0 :D

But yeah, the engine is the same as the ST according to this: Volvo C30 Specifications 153.8CU is 2.5. Its just detuned, most probably b/c of knock/turbo issues on your low octane fuels?

I believe the 2.0 is just a trim level and not the engine displacement.

Those are VERY cool cars, I love Volvos! I still miss my S80 T6 a LOT! A guy at work has one, he was actually able to have the headrests embroidered with his favorite college team straight from the factory. How great is that?

Nice to see two tone on cars as well!

Did the squeeze bottle for your Prima Mystique start out as a bottle of Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer? That is a neat idea!

like those Volvos but open the trunk and you realise why they are just totally ridiculous :( Not just size but layout and the load cover is a joke...

Lovely colour combo on that one - same as the launch model in my local dealership. The Zaino adds a superb gloss and wetness :D

Great job, looks like a fun little car. Its' only drawback is FWD. If it was RWD + those bad *** funky looks = success.

With regard AWD, Volvo created this chassis and its in the Ford Focus 2, Mazda 3 and several other Volvos. The problem is the C30 is smallest car of them all and while they have Haldex 4x4 in the other cars on the same platform it simply wont fit the C30.

If it was cost effective to shrink, they might well do it.
