This is my baby so to say. I spent almost a year finding the exact one I wanted. It was almost flaswless besides a few swirls and scratches. The goal wasn't complete correction, as this is my daily driver and I'm sure someones will stick a cart or door in it again. I do not have too many befores as I was pressed for time, but you will see the improvement.
Products Used:
-Meguiars Hyper Wash
-XMT Speed clay (used their brand lubricant)
-Poorboy's SSR2.5 (sparingly)
-Poorboy's SSR1
-Poorboy's EX Sealant with Caranuba
-Poorboy's Natty's Red Paste
Hasn't been washed in 2 weeks so it was due. You see it never sees offroad, hardly anything on it
Clean
Hood had a few cat scratches from sliding down the hood :wall The hood and the fender was the only thing that really required SSR2.5.
Before:
After:
Passenger fender was marked up. I was able to remove 90% of the defects.
Note: The passenger side and hood was repainted a year or so ago due to an accident with the previous owner.
Before:
After:
That's it for the before an afters. Couple shots of the progress next.
Can never be too careful (random shot I know...)
The extended cab door. The marks you see are in the bodywork and under the repaint. Still finished nicely.
Tailgate:
Drivers door had a minor scratch in it. Gently sanded it with some 2000 grit and believe it or not SSR2.5 polished it out.
Before:
After. Leveled out nice, to the untrained eye you can't see it hardly:
Here's the final shots this morning taken in the sun. Believe or not it rained this morning. Goes to show you how well the EX/Natty's combo works.
Where's that scratch? No, it's not the white mark on the left.
