2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan unveiled 56K-no

Kinda looks like the new Camary, especially the back. I guess that's neither good nor bad. Doesn't look like the seats have changed any. I had an 04 Sedan, and found myself sliding on the seats in hard conering. I also had trouble finding a comfortable seating position.

Glad to hear that the 6M will be available. Hopefully there will be a hand brake for those times you need to stop on a hill, and some person in an automatic stops 3 inches in back of your car.

Any specs on the motor? Still amazed that they can get 300 bhp from a 6 cyl. Back in the day, it wasn't that easy to get 300 hp from a small V8. My 88 Mustang only put out 225 bhp, but it did come pretty low in the rpm range.

Compact Flash?!? BOO!!! That format's going the way of the dinosaur. Infiniti should use SD instead. Or at least a USB port.

:rofl

I love it when these 2 words are mentioned together.

The inside and outside is very nice but I find the hood quite ugly. The front seem would have looked a lot better integrated into the grill like the current generation.

That is beautiful. I hope the Coupe is similar...

Is it me or are a lot of carmakers moving towards the more round shape (sporty?)??? IMO cars are getting way too rounded, not enough definition.

Fast-forward 6 months...

How many have added the 2007 G35 to their list?

The drop date, according to many sources, is November 1. I'm #1 on the list at my dealer to come in and look/drive it :D.

I'm going to test drive one too, although I've made my choice already. I don't really love the new styling of the sedan, and honestly the engine leaves me a bit disappointed - imo you need to rev it too high to get max torque and with no direct injection I think the mpg will be rather bad. I also dislike that the VQ is pretty much topped out in terms of potential; oh, and the same tranny that's in the current auto = :(

I still think it'll be a nice car, and will likely sell super well since it'll be a huge bargain.

I hear ya.

I'm interested to see how the low end is as I've already done the Honda (no torque/power until you rev the pi$$ out of it) thing. I hope, due to the vast engine upgrades, that it has a smooth, yet plentiful power build.

No worries on the auto...I'm a MT or bust guy anyway :).

Two reasons why I won't consider the '07 G:

1) I like my 2003 G very, very much. Actually like it better than the current newer G models, for various reasons.

2) It has 1 year of payments left. No note! No note! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Sorry Infiniti....

Hey, I resemble that remark!

Just keep hoping that Honda keeps driving the wrong wheels. The J motor has plenty of legs left.;)

I did for a while, too :).

Hopefully the RDX turbo technology will catch on with some other models. Also, it won't hurt to go to an all RWD/AWD lineup...I have a big bias against FWD (for performance) after my last two vehicles.

Very sharp! Love the new back end of the car, and the interior (which was always the cars weak point in my opinion).

Any HP increases for 07??
