Now, if I'm using M105 with the Flex, I intentionally start with a damp pad and give it a shot of QD once in a while. It doesn't extend the working time a huge amount, just enough that I feel like I'm getting the whole section worked before it starts to flash.
YMMV, but it's been working for me.

ObOnTopic: For the OP, simply awesome turnaround on that car. I imagine the owner's jaw dropped quite a bit when he first saw the transformation.
Ya, I've had a little more working time when misting the pad with last touch or another QD. The owner is my soon to be brother-in-law. He was quite pleased with it!
