I decided to clean up the Tahoe this weekend, since we’re about to get 7-10 days of rain. The pic’s were taken about 10 minutes before the downpour started. Oh joy J
I spent about 4 hours on the Tahoe inside and out, and for the most part I used Zaino from top to bottom.
Products & Process used:
Wash: Z7, Optimum APC on the wells
Tires/Wheels: Blackfire Wheel & Tire Gel (Very mild and effective)
Glass: Polished with Z14.
Exterior Trim, headlights, tail lights, & gauge cluster: Polished with Z12
Interior Plastic: Z16
Interior Leather: Z9/Z10
Tires: Optimum/CG’s VRT mix
Paint:
Blackfire Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish: PC & Green LC Hi-gloss Pad x 1, Cyclo & finish pad X 1. This is basically P085RD repackaged IMO. It finished bright and VERY clean.
Z Sealer (NEW) –I ran into a few samples of a soon to be released Z sealer and I was impressed that an already great product (IMO) has been noticeably improved. The new mix goes on/off as easy as WG, and is (IMO) the best looking sealer that I’ve ever used –which before that was Z5/Z2Pro/Z8 combo. This is 1 coat of the sample stuff on the paint & wheels with a few Z8 touch ups.
Here are a few after shots (again… right before it started pouring. Sorry, but we’re getting hammered in the NE).
