I was called to do a 2000 Grand am with over 200,000 miles on it. The dealer bought it from an auction for $500 and wasnt expecting it to turn out too great. There were a few spots that the clear was peeling, and several places that were touched up. I wasnt too excited about this one at all so i didnt bother taking any before pics. The car was swirled from front to back and the paint was so dull it almost looked pink. I decided to go cheaper route this time and went all Auto Magic for the correction rather than going for the Car Brite Black Pearl line that i usually use. I realize the car isnt perfect by far, but for 200,000 miles its not going to be.
My process - Washed with Zip Wax
Auto Magic Spoke acid wheel cleaner
Car Brite Whamo whitewall cleaner
Car Brite Bug Away bug remover
CM Blue clay and Pro Golden Mist QD as lube
Auto Magic XP compound and wool pad
Auto Magic Risk Free polish and blue foam pad
Auto Magic Strawberry Wet Wax and white foam pad
all machine work done with Harbor Freight rotary
thanks for looking
Edit - the headlights needed to be restored but the dealer didnt want it...not my fault lol
