1991 Civic Si engine detailed (pics)

Just an FYI, using WD-40 on any rubber underhood might not be the best idea since petroleum products tend to break down rubber over time. I think I'd wash it off any and all hoses you can get to.



You probably haven't done any real damage, but still might be a good idea to clean them off.

Im not buying this one, guys. The after pics have different spark plug wires, a genuine Honda battery (as opposed to the one in the before pics) and looks to be a different distributer also. I also dont think WD-40 would remove all of the rust from the engine mount, bolts and hose clamps etc... The date appears on the before pics, but not on the afters?



I've seen some great turn arounds on Autopia, but I doubt this one.

Did you not think I replaced some parts and removed some stickers due to them peeling and being old ? haha

The car had been sitting in a garage for 10+ years... doh doh brain. :high5:
