The Paint...
The original paint was a single stage metalic that had quite a bit of oxidation built up over the years. After a serious claying with an AM Red claybar most of the surface contaminants wire removed and she was ready for some cutting. A pass with Meg's Power Cleaner and a yellow wool pad quickly cut through a layer of oxidation and removed most of the minor surface scratches. A pass with DACP and an edge yellow pad, prior to a pass with Meg's Swirl Free Polish cleaned the paint up nicely as she called out for a coat of Natty's.
The 44 year old paint felt slick and silky smooth, and the paint although starting to fade slightly looked great !!!
