Hello everybody. After many months of drooling over cars here on the click & brag, I've decided to post some pictures of my own. I owe a huuuuuge THANK YOU to everyone on this forum. This community is wonderful and I feel that every day I learn more about making my car look amazing for years to come. If it weren't for this forum, I would never be daring enough to openly "brag" about how my car looks online. Thank you!!!
My car is a daily driver and endured the wretched Wisconsin winter, so please forgive that the car has some minimal swirls. I plan on keeping this car forever, so polishing away part of the clear each year to maintain a 100% swirl-free look seems like it'd keep me away from enjoying my nice, fresh (orange-peely) Mitsubishi paint job forever.
I'd get laughed off of the Evo message boards with this, but it should be fine here... my mods:
-3M Clear Bra
-"Black Diamond" BBS wheels from Special Edition Evo
-De-badged trunk except Mitsu logo
-Pioneer DEH-P5800MP CD player
-Mitsubishi Brake Cooling Air Guides
Anyway, what everyone here cares about -- the process. Back in late March/ early April I did the following:
-wash, clay, SFX3 polish, then some Zaino:
day 1: Z-AIO, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6
about a week later: wash, dry, Z5pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z2pro (ZFX'd), Z6, Z2pro (ZFX'd), Z8
I haven't added any Zaino to the paint besides Z6/Z8 since early April (testing its true durability). Here's the process pre-photo shoot:
-ONR wash (I will probably never wash conventionally again!!!)
-wheels/ tires cleaned with QD strength ONR
-tires dressed with Armor All (thanks goes out to Scottwax ... thank you for saving me LOTS of money with a cheap tire dressing that looks great)
-glass cleaned with QD strength ONR
-Z8 wipedown
I didn't really do much to the interior besides a quick 303 wipedown -- I mainly took pictures because I thought some fellow Autopians would want to see the inside of an Evo

Any constructive comments, suggestions, or questions are welcome.
Thanks for checking out my post!!!
