04 G35 Coupe (47 pics!)

Amazing! :bow

I'd send before and afters to the hackers at the detail shop to show them how a real detailer polishes out a car.

I was thinking the owner should send this link to the last shop and ask for a refund or pay half of my service charge. :) Chance of that happening, is like hell freezing over!!

that is awesome, how do you get inbetween the letterings and when you do hit the spot between the spoiler and the trunk, how do you get the edge of the two without burning the spoiler/trunk's paint?

Between Lettering: Well in this case the buffer from the previous person cannot hit between those areas so no real polishing attention was needed in between the lettering.

For the trunk part with lettering I used 4 inch pads with my Ryobi Right Angle Drill. The top of the trunk where the spoiler connected, I simply slowed the RPMS down and had very careful control not to burn the edge of the connected spoiler.

Hope that makes sense

Great job perfecting that beautiful blue.

Greg

Thanks Greg! I have been a fan of the G35 coupes for a while and the Twilight Blue is by far my FAVORITE color for it. Im really curious how the new G37 Coupe will look if they still offer the same color! :)

People always complain I am too much also, but they always end up having me do it month down the road after it gets hacked up.

after doing my first detail on my own car last weekend, and getting a first-hand experience of what all is involved, i think what you guys charge is worth it. it is a lot of work, "regular" people have no clue, they think its just soap and water and a little wax lol.

if i didn't take pride in doing things myself, i'd make the trip to ashburn for a truly amazing detail, it's only about 2.5 hours away hehe. sorry rydawg, new hampshire is too far :chuckle: .

o, and like always, excellent job on the g35... that hood shot that euro quoted is insane.

It's all good. I would refer Chris to anyone that was looking for top work!!!! He is on my list of top prep guys! :)

INSANE!!!!! I can't believe people can deliver a car in teh condition you got it in. WHat was that last shop thinking? Wait....they probably weren't thinking!

Last Detail Shop = Less thinking, more #@$*&#$^ up paint! lol

Can't complain since they are practically shoving customers my way! :)
