Good wax for daily driver?

Alright here's the deal. I run S11 Detailing | and do a avg. of 3-5 cars a week. I hage 5 different main waxes and sealants I use on cars depending on car, finish, what customer sants, etc. My main normal plain daily wax I use currently for average cars is Adam's buttery wax. I am running low and looking to either get another gallon or switch to something new! I am looking for advice what everyone recommends for this type of application.

Some key points I am looking to improve, stay the same, and be around same $ as a gallon of Adam's Buttery wax:
-longevity, this is most important
-Priced around same as a gallon of Adam's
-Would prefer to be able to buy in gallon size option
-Ease of removal
-No left over residue or minimal if possible

I have swissvax, menzerna, and other super premium waxes for specific or special applications. I am not looking for these, just a good all around daily wax that produces good shine and lasts a good amount of time over Adam's. Any suggestions? Thanks
 
Collinite 845? Don't know if they sell by the gallon, but a 16oz. bottle lasts through quite a few cars as you don't have to use much for each car. I would say maybe 20-25 cars per 16 oz. bottle at one coat.

Bingo ! Thats exactly what I would recommend in a durable wax. You could also go with an economical Sealant such as Duragloss 105 which is probably even a little more durable than the Collinite. I know that you can buy the 105 in a gallon size. But for a durable wax - the 845 can't be beat.
 
Hmm I'd go with Optimum Car Wax. Super easy spray on application, easy wipe off removal, great looks and an overall upgrade for a few more bucks.

Or you can go with a synthetic wax/sealant like Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. The largest size available is 33 oz, but that 33 oz goes a long ways since you use less product than most liquid waxes.
 
Collinite 845 is very easy to use and will last 4-6 months. 476's is also very durable but is a paste wax and can be hard to remove sometimes.

Duragloss 105 and 501 are very good sealants and will last 4-6 months.

Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax is also a very good sealant and very easy to use.

All these suggestions are less expensive than Adams and will last 4-6 months.
 
In my opinion, waxes don't last as long as say Wolfgang. Collinite can be a xxxxx to take off if it sets too long. They burn off in the sun. I educate the customer on how to keep the vehicle looking good. Most of my customers kill their cars at the car wash. Its tough to keep any protection on the surfaces when the car is treated brutally. I also like the new Detailers pro sealers. More money of course. I warranty my job to bead SIX full months....The "InvisibleGarageProtection" Here is the clincher....Never redid a job. Just beginners luck I guess. If the customer takes it to a CW....the warranty is VOID! I can tell from the lines in the paint. I do have some clients who LOVE their cars. Most of them Dr.s Today I did a 2014 Benz Bi-turbo 96K Drs. Car. Be well! Paintxpert
 
That's the thing, the cars I am using buttery wax on are normal customers who come to me every year (usually twice, once before summer, and once before winter) for a cleanup job. Not bmw m6's, vette z06's, or expensive cars like that. I have expensive sealants and carnauba wax for those and the owners mainly keep up and maintain after I do a detail.

This wax would be something basically in my favor, which would still offer the same if not better longevity as the buttery wax, easy to remove, and of course, help profits.

A 16oz bottle of buttery wax is $20, so I would def like to stay around that price if I have to buy 16oz bottles. The collinite 845 seems like a good choice so far. Any more suggestions? Keep in mind, the cars this wax is going on, are customers who usually just normally wash their car and that's it. They don't go over it and claybar, use detail spray, etc. Beading usually lasts a good solid 3 months with buttery wax from adam's. Depending on weather.
 
Buttery Wax lasting 3 months? That's very, very generous IME unless the car is garage kept most if not all of the time. Buttery wax is known for a lot of things but durability is not one of them.

Shine Supply makes Banana Shine Liquid wax @ $16 for 16oz. You can also use this in the sun or shade. Who knows what the durability is but its... something different!

If the water is beading on a car, the protection is still there. I'm not talking a slippery buttery smooth feel. That requires upkeep and someone who takes care of their car. Yes, I have buttery wax on one of my daily drivers that I detailed in Feb. The car is washed normally but I don't go over it with detail spray every week and the water is still beading up. Surface doesn't feel silky smooth but the water runs right off it.
 
I used Adams buttery and it was ok. I prefer M26 over it. It's cheaper than Adams and can be bought in a gallon size. Durability for me is about 2-4 months. I haven't used Colinite but it gets rave reviews. If you are looking for a cheaper priced sealant look at ultimate wax as stated or even M21.
 
I have read that it is relatively evenly matched with DG105. From experience, 845 spreads like butter when using a black ccs pad, and a little really does go a long, long way. Easy removal too.
 
Duragloss #105 will not only exceed your expectations it will meet your budget and increase the bottom line. You just can't go wrong with it.........unless you spill the whole bottle. :)

Agreed.
DG105, IMO, doesn't have as much "pop" as 845, but it seems to me that 105 seems to stay cleaner than most other waxes and sealants I've tried in a DD role. Longevity between the two is too close to call (again IMO), and in the gallon size it's a superb value.

I like Zaino AIO. Goes on easy, comes off easy, has very mild cleaner. last a long time and looks great IMO
