Since I started reading these boards and doing a little research, I've put in two orders with Autopia Car Care and spent some coin.

Ultima Paint prep+
Ultima Paint guard+
Poor Boys Natty's paste wax
Sonax Wheel Cleaner FE
Opti-Bond Tire Gel
Pinnacle Crystal Clear glass cleaner (with repellant)
and a Wheel Woolie

Luckily I already had some stuff in my arsenal like mothers clay bar, Megs gold class shampoo, stoners Invisable glass(used on inside of windows), lots of microfiber cloths/
towels, wash mits, etc.

Detailed my car last saturday, using all the products mentioned above. Took my time, lots of beer and cigarette breaks! And WOW! Its looking great!

I have to say, I was most impressed with the Sonax Wheel cleaner. That stuff is awesome. Best wheel cleaner I've ever used. Sprayed it on liberally, waited 5min or so once it turned a dark red color, then blasted it off with my little mini fire hose nozel. And thats it, they were clean. Any dirt that looked like it stuck to the wheel, I could literally rub off with my finger. Amazing!

I can't really comment on anything else yet, as it has been nice and sunny here since, plus I havent really driven much since. No rain yet.

I'm not quite sure if the opti-bond tire gel is my kind of gel. It returned the tires back to black nicely, and dries nice (not greasy). Guess I'm looking for a hair little more shine, nothing crazy though.

I'm glad everything is working out for you and you got some great results from the products. As far as sheen from the tire gel goes, you can always add multiple coats to get it up to your liking.

Can Sonax FE be diluted to extend usage if wheels aren't extremely dirty? I've heard Poorboys Spray and Rinse can.

I think sonax is supposed to be used full strength. For less dirty or well maintained wheels a apc or soap and water should clean wheels no problem.

This is just the beginning; I'm sure you'll be spending more and more $$$ and wouldn't notice it until you take a step back and say "Holy Cow" I've spent that much already..lol =]

If you want a glossy finish on your tires, add another coat of Opti-Bond 15 minutes after your first application.

I find that the glossiness of optibond varies with different brand tires. However if you are looking for a little more shine, carpro perl is a great choice IMHO

Poor Boys Bold and Bright is a pretty glossy conventional dressing at a pretty good price. As others have said, another coat of OptiBond will increase the gloss.

Natty's Paste Wax is probally the best paste wax on the market. Reasonably priced too

You should add a second (or third) coat if you like a deep, rich, glossy look :inspector:

how did you like the UPG?

I loved the easy application of it. Its a little hard to tell if its actually on there, espescially on my white car (also applied at night under the garage lights). I guess I could feel the smoothness of it rather than actually seeing it. But I trust its on there. Put two coats on about an hour apart, just to be sure.

Hey, as others have said, WE NEED PICS..

Sun shots are the money shots

Pics probably wouldn't be that impressive cuz its a white car.

Plus its already starting to get dirty again.

Maybe next time I wash and QD it, I'll snap some pics.
