Meg's M100

It seems like my last few gallons of M105 have been watered down. Man I missed the old M105 before they made it DA compatible. So I was wondering if there have been any reviews on the M100. I guess I am hoping for a miracle with M100 cutting better and quicker plus leaving the same finish as the 105. It is the holidays right?

You will find M100 has a lot longer working time and less dusting then M105.Worked with another member ( Tom Weed )before Christmas on a Chrysler mini van with very hard paint,. Started with a mf and a da but Tom switched to a rotary and a PWF. Great cut compared to m105.It did have a small amount of dusting . IMO m105 has met it's match.

Freaking sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much. I have used probably in excess of 20 gallons of 105. But Im tired of it and it just might be me but the quality has gone down. I wonder if Todd can answer this. Do stores like Detailed image and Auto geek fill the gallons themselves? I know I am not crazy and I know there has been differences between gallons and I know that my Hyper dressing has been thicker and sometimes runny between different gallons. i didn't know whether the companies where maybe diluting the product or if Meg's just quality control issues. but when you use products as much as I do you can tell a difference.

Anyways thanks a bunch! order being placed now! Oh yea Happy New Years!

I may be quite drunk, sick, and on pain killers but... WHAAAAT..!!?!?!

In my opinion from the limited use I have with M100 (not M101) it cuts quicker with more working time , some dusting but not bad, easy removal and finishes out nice. I think it could end up replacing M105 but thats just one old mans opinion.lol.Later this week if things work out I will get to test it out on a gen5 camaro along with a Rupes 15 & 21.

PS: Leave the Gentleman Jack to us oldtimers.

I believe m100 is suppose to have slightly more cut than M105. So it make since to me that guys would get better cut from it. Just sayin.

order some MF Cutting and Polishing pads. That combo with M100 is a must have.

As long as they are not megs mf pads. they have issues everyone i have used
has come apart some in first 5 mins of use.have had good luck with there finish pads just not the cutting in any size lake country are good i have had not problems with those at all.there pads are same cut and finish

I did too a first. I understand it was a production problem and they have corrected that issue.
I have been using and the recent "revised version" Megs MF cutting discs and they are solid as a rock.

I'll be buying some in the relatively near future.

I have recently purchased M101 and M100. I have only used the M101 once on a silver vehicle with a rotary and 5.5" LC orange flat pad. I was VERY impressed with the results.
(no wonder there was a black market!)

I have not had the opportunity to try out the M100 yet. Has anyone compared the two products for application, behavior, finish results etc.? I'd like to know the differences.

Yea, I know one is made for rotary wool & one is made for rotary foam. That's not what I'm asking. Have you used both with a rotary and both with a DA using MF discs/foam?

Better than M105 Mike?

I have a love/hate relationship with M105. Love the cut and finish and hate most else about about it. Haven't used it straight in a long time. I mix it 2 dots M105 + 1dot D300 to get better working time, less dusting and easier wipe off. Don't have to do that with M100. Haven't compared the cuts yet but M100 finishes better (I think).

Since I have used M101 I would highly recommend it over M105!
I also purchased M100 and have not had the opportunity to use it.

M101 is everything I like about M105 with everything I did not like removed.
I'm VERY impressed with M101. It's kinda like using neat D300 with M105 cut!

As I have mentioned before M100 kicks M105's butt for cut, working time and less dusting. M101 cuts better then M100 but the price is considerably higher. I'm not good at reading instructions and use both with mf or foam and wool. I have also been known to mix the two or even D300 with M105. Sometimes one has to think outside the box.

No, we receive the products as delivered (from Meguiars).

Thanks for the info.
