Meg's M100

Since I have used M101 I would highly recommend it over M105!
I also purchased M100 and have not had the opportunity to use it.

M101 is everything I like about M105 with everything I did not like removed.
I'm VERY impressed with M101. It's kinda like using neat D300 with M105 cut!

I was at the Meg's booth and the rep was saying the same. Going to have to try it. It is pricey though. Usage (amount gone through) thoughts?

M101 is kinda pricey but that's relative to quantity used. It really does not take a lot of product to get the job done.

I used it with a Flex PE14-2-150 rotary, 5" backing plate and 5.5" LC flat pad. For On-The-Fly cleaning...
I found that a foam pad conditioning brush works great for cleaning the pad during and/or between panels

Here are my personal findings using M100 with a Porter Cable 7424xp DA.

Items used Surbuf, Megs MF cutting and LC 5.5" flat
M100-1.jpg

Megs M100, Bug sponge and Surbuf pad.

Megs M100, Bug Sponge and Megs 5" MF cutting disc primed and ready.

Did M100 work with a DA? After doing multiple section passes with M100 there were swirls.
After using both products with a DA I personally feel M101 wins above M100 Hands Down!
I'm sure M100 has its place with a rotary & wool but IMHO it didn't compare to M101 w/DA.
I haven't tried M100/rotary & wool yet. This was my comparison of M100 & M101 with a PC.

Order of agresiveness
M100 Cut Ability with a PC
1st Surbuf
2nd MF cutting disc
3rd LC flat orange

I needed to use M101 after the M100 testing to get the vehicle swirl free.
M100-4.jpg

Finished work: Megs M101, DA and Lake Country 5.5" orange flat pad

M101 finished down so well I didn't even use M205 as a follow up. For me M101 was 1 step.
I'm amazed at the finish. One pad (orange), one polish (M101) & I had a "showroom" finish.
No multi-pad/multi-stage...put right index finger in your left nostril & hop counter clockwise.
One pad - One Polish - Done. and the orange pad to boot! Did I mention I really like M101?

This is my conclusion. Your results may vary.

Thank you for your review. Been on the fence. I've been rotary for years but more prominently DA now. Your response answered my exact questions.
